Refund Policy
Effective: June 2, 2026
We want you to be genuinely happy with Milestone. This policy explains when and how refunds are issued. Billing and refunds are processed through Paddle, our merchant of record.
1. Free Trial
All paid plans include a 14-day free trial. No credit card is required to start. If you choose not to continue after the trial, you will not be charged.
2. Monthly Plans
Monthly subscriptions may be cancelled at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; you will not be charged again. We do not issue prorated refunds for unused days on monthly plans.
3. Annual Plans - 30-Day Money-Back Guarantee
If you are not satisfied with Milestone within the first 30 days of an annual subscription, contact us at support@milestone-app.com and we will issue a full refund, no questions asked.
After 30 days, annual plans are non-refundable. You may cancel at any time to prevent renewal; access continues until the end of the paid term.
4. Early Adopter Plans
Promotional or early adopter pricing is fixed and non-refundable after the first 30 days, given the included support and roadmap access.
5. How Billing and Refunds Are Processed
Paddle is our merchant of record and the seller of record for your purchase. Payments, invoices, taxes, and refunds are processed through Paddle, and a refund is returned to your original payment method. Paddle's buyer terms also apply to your transaction.
6. Your Statutory Rights
Nothing in this policy limits any non-waivable rights you have under applicable consumer-protection law, such as the EU/UK right to withdraw from a purchase of digital services. Where such rights apply, they prevail over this policy. (Note that starting to use a digital service during a withdrawal period may, by your request, end that withdrawal right.)
7. Exceptions
We may issue refunds outside this policy at our discretion, for example:
- Extended, documented outages that significantly impaired your use.
- Billing errors on our side.
- Requirements under applicable consumer protection law.
8. How to Request a Refund
Email support@milestone-app.com with the subject line “Refund Request” and include your account email. We review approved refunds and submit them through Paddle within 5–10 business days; the time for funds to appear depends on Paddle and your bank. If you have a billing concern, please contact us before initiating a chargeback so we can resolve it directly.
